The Media Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded its second course on video filming for its employees, which aligns with the shrine's vision of creating a credible media.
The Media Training Center of the department organized the course, which is part of a series of courses dedicated to the members of the Media Formations Division who were transferred to the Media Department. It includes three levels (basic, advanced, professional) and lasted three days.
The course instructor, Mr. Mohamed Kamel Al-Shammari, said: "This course is the second in the basic level of videography, aiming to develop the technical and artistic skills of photographers. It covered how to adjust camera settings, manage proper exposure, and optical composition."
He added that "the course covered lighting and sound management and understanding the editing process, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to media work ethics and regulations, reflecting the identity of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and its purposeful media and artistic message."
For his part, photographer Hassan Abdul Karim, one of the participants in the course, confirmed that it "provided an ideal practical environment to understand the details of the work and how to deal with lighting angles and professional shots, which will directly contribute to improving the quality of photographic coverage of the activities of the holy shrine departments and conveying them in the best possible way."
The Media Department seeks through these activities to unify the artistic and professional vision of its staff, ensuring the creation of visual content characterized by precision, esthetics, and professionalism, in line with the vision of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
