The head of the department, Engineer Firas Abbas Hamza, said that the department has completed the installation of the system at the Al-Ameed Educational Group in the holy city of Karbala, with a production capacity of 72 kilowatts.
He added that the system includes six three-phase inverters (3 Fuses) with a capacity of 12 kW each, in addition to 30 smart lithium batteries with a capacity of 48 volts, equipped with modern solar cells with a capacity of 610 watts per cell.
For his part, the supervisor of the system, Engineer Ihab Rashid, indicated that the system used bifacial solar panels, with the application of a white thermal-insulating and sun-reflecting coating on the building's surfaces, which contributes to enhancing the system's operational efficiency.
He pointed out that the establishment of this system aims to enhance reliance on clean alternative energy, reduce operational expenses associated with fuel consumption, and contribute to alleviating the load on the national grid.
